During this period, the common types of injuries among children include forearm fractures, humeral fractures, contusions, mild sprains, fractures of the extremities, strain/sprain injuries, and upper and lower extremity injuries. Forearm fractures were most prevalent, particularly among school children aged 6 to 10 years, followed by humeral fractures.
Nonspecific injuries like contusions, mild sprains, and fractures of the extremities were also observed, with Salter-Harris fractures and plastic fractures being common. Additionally, strain/sprain injuries accounted for a significant number of reported cases. Notably, the most frequent injury sites were the lower and upper extremities, constituting a significant percentage of the injuries recorded.
