Symposium 8: Bone Health and Surgical Complications
📅 23 August 2026 | 🕚 11:30 AM – 12:25 PM | 📍 MyBONe Hall, M World Hotel, Petaling Jaya

We are proud to share that Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sanjiv Rampal of IMU University will be a featured speaker at this year’s Fragility Fracture Network Malaysia (FFNM) & Malaysian Bone-Health Optimization Network (MyBONe) Annual Scientific Meeting 2026 — themed “Beyond Fragility: Optimizing Bone Health, Healing and Recovery.”

As part of Symposium 8, Prof Sanjiv will deliver a talk on “Aseptic Loosening Arthroplasty – Help! My Implant is Sinking,” addressing one of the most challenging complications faced in joint replacement surgery today. Drawing on his clinical experience in orthopaedic and arthroplasty surgery, Prof Sanjiv will share practical insights into diagnosis, decision-making, and management strategies for surgeons and healthcare professionals managing complex implant-related complications.

This session is part of a broader panel exploring surgical complications in bone health, alongside:

  • Prof Datuk Dr Sabarul Afian Mokhtar (Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz UKM) — Aseptic Loosening Spine: “Lost Purchase”
  • Dr Mohamad Hilmi Bin Mohamad Nazarallah (Ampang Puteri Specialist Hospital) — Periprosthetic Fracture

This appearance reflects Prof Sanjiv’s ongoing commitment to advancing patient outcomes through continuous medical education, and to fostering the exchange of knowledge and expertise between doctors across specialties and institutions.

Colleagues and fellow healthcare professionals are warmly invited to attend and engage in discussion.
